Please change the photo that goes with this story...it is a comical cartoon that does not go with such a sombre story as that of suicides, death etc

There is nothing sombre about people committing suicides in this fashion. People dying this way is dishonourable and ridiculous.

Hence, this toon to mock them, and those who are contemplating committing suicide on the death of a politician.

Reminds me of the news I saw as a child on TV of fanatics who killed themselves when Iran’s Khomeini died in 1989.

They are victims of mass hysteria of the Kala Bandar type in the movie Delhi 6.

Sombre or somber is an adjective.

Meaning: grave or even gloomy in character; ”solemn and mournful music”; ”a suit of somber black”; ”a somber mood”.

The death of YSR created a sombre atmosphere. But the suicides committed by his fans was due to hysteria, which is unjustified and comical, and there is nothing sombre about it except the atmosphere of the houses they belonged. Their families are in sombre mood now.

No sympathies from Vishnu Mathur on those who took their precious lives this way. This is ridiculous and as I mentioned before - dishonourable.

So no need to mourn anyone who died dishonourably.
